I'm playing as Japan and chose Hermetic Order. As you know Japan's main thing is adjacency bonuses of the districts. Hermetic Order boosts districts. But now there is a Ley line right where I plan to build a industrial district with 2 aquaducts, a dam and another industrial district adjacent to it.

On random maps, Hermetic Order really depends on luck and is most of the time not as efficient as the 3 other Secret Societies, but for the Huge Earth map (and I think it's the same for maps like Mediterranean, Europe and East Asia), ley lines (and also strategic ressources) are always on the same tiles.
